John 15:5 reads, “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.” 

Many times, in life we believe that our activity produces fruit, but I believe that it is our relationship with Him that brings fruit.  This is the food of God which is to be in relationship with Him.  Apart from abiding in the vine, there is no fruit.  Going back to John 15:5 gives us this picture of how we are to be living.
